It is the true account of an existence haunted by inner demons, despite an instinctive refusal to sink into darkness. But while firmly rooted in the '90s death and thrash metal tradition and influenced by DEATH, CORONER, MORBID ANGEL, NILE, PESTILENCE, and NOCTURNUS, among others, ARCHITECT OF SETH's style is anything but traditional. On the contrary, the addition of progressive metal elements and significant forays into black metal, dark doom, and German speed metal make the album utterly fresh and dynamic, classic without being outdated, and, dare we say, timeless.
